What We're Involved In!

The Tilly Agency was presented with the Outstanding Asset-Builder Award by the Rochester-Monroe County Youth Bureau in 2010.

Rotary

Paul and Betty Lou are former members of the Rotary Club in Lima, NY.  Paul was a member for 33 years, and Betty Lou has been an honorary member for 6 years.  The Lima Rotary is very involved in the community, and also supports the Lima Boy Scout Troop.  Paul is a past president of the Lima Rotary Club, and past Assistant District Governor.  Rene and Michele were both named "Paul Harris Fellow"s in 2010.  Their awards were presented at the Lima Rotary Club meeting in early December, by Don Alhart from 13 WHAM news.

Crossroads Professional Insurance Association (CPIA)

The Tilly Agency has been a long-time member of CPIA.  Paul, Betty Lou, Michele, and Rene are charter members.  CPIA was founded in 1989, and The Tilly Agency has been attending meetings regularly ever since.  CPIA supports many community causes, including Focus on the Children, ConKerr Cancer and the Special Olympics. Rene is a past President of CPIA, and Michele is the current President.  Michele is also the current Region IV Director of Federation of NY Insurance Professionals.

Zion Episcopal Church

Paul and Betty Lou are involved members of Zion Episcopal Church.  Paul is currently the Treasurer of the Church.  Betty Lou is involved in the Women of Zion, and makes prayer shawls for them.  Paul and Betty Lou also help at the booth at Avon's Farmer's Market where they sell hot dogs, baked goods, and handmade items.

Zion House

Paul is currently the Treasurer for Zion House.  It is a home for women veterans, located in Avon, NY.  Paul and Betty Lou are both very involved in Zion House.

Martha's Kitchen

Betty Lou, Paul, and Michele run Martha's Kitchen about once every 6 weeks.  Martha's Kitchen is a soup kitchen at Zion Episcopal Church.  It serves meals every Saturday at Noon to anyone who needs a meal.

Alumni Association

Paul is an active member of the alumni association.  He has also been a past president.
